This is a translation of the Dutch text. In case of any difference in meaning, the Dutch version prevails.
Amsterdam Gift Studio, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 34354551, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy and cookie policy. You can ask questions about your data through the contact details at the bottom of this page.
We do not process payment details such as card or account numbers ourselves: our payment service provider Mollie does. We only receive the status of a payment from Mollie.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making and do not sell it to third parties.
We make agreements on the protection of personal data with parties that process it on our behalf. Apart from these parties, we do not share your data with third parties unless we are legally required to do so.
On your first visit we ask for consent for cookies that are not necessary. If you choose "Necessary only", we do not place those cookies and the website remains fully usable. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
With Vercel Speed Insights we measure how quickly public pages load after you give consent. Measurements include the page address without query parameters, loading times and technical browser and device information. Account, order and payment pages and previews are excluded. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending these measurements.
If you log in to your customer account, we place a login cookie that keeps you logged in. This cookie is necessary for the account to work and is valid for a maximum of 30 days. No consent is required for it.
If you accept, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how many visitors our website receives and which pages they view. For this, Google places the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> on your device, which are valid for a maximum of 2 years. Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States; Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
If you refuse consent or withdraw it later, we do not load Google Analytics and we remove the associated cookies.
You can separately consent to Google Analytics and Google Ads measuring which ad visits lead to an enquiry or purchase. This measurement requires the Statistics category. Google may link information about your ad click, such as a click ID, your visit and the successful enquiry or purchase. We do not send names, email addresses or completed form text to Google for this purpose. We do not use this choice for remarketing or personalised ads.
Ad measurement is off by default. Consent to Statistics alone leaves it off. Google may use cookies for ad measurement, such as _gcl_*. If you withdraw consent, we turn off ad measurement and remove the associated measurement cookies on our domain. Before your consent choice, we do not load a Google measurement script or send cookieless measurement signals to Google.
Your basket, your shortlist and your cookie choice are stored not as a cookie but as local storage (localStorage) in your own browser: only on your device, and not automatically on our servers, until you place an order or submit a request. A shortlist is kept this way for 30 days. We keep your cookie choice for 12 months; after that we ask again.
During the payment process you are briefly redirected to Mollie. At that moment Mollie places its own cookies, over which we have no influence. Please refer to Mollie's privacy policy for these.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorised access. Only employees who need your data for their work have access to it.
You have the right to know which personal data we process about you, and why. You also have the right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data, and the right to object to its processing. If you have previously given us consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We may amend this privacy and cookie policy, for example if our services or the legislation change. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
