Cornelis Anthonisz. created this map as a woodcut, based on an oil painting from 1538. The city extends from the IJ to the Singel and Kloveniersburgwal, with the Damrak in the middle. North is at the bottom, as was customary at the time.
The map is supplied as standard in A3 (29.7 × 42 cm). Larger sizes are also available: A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) or 50 × 70 cm, at a small additional cost. We are happy to discuss a frame or a personal message.
